Fredrick Leonard, the Nollywood actor, opened up on why he was still single at 44, claiming he didn’t want to end up in a wretched marriage.
In a recent interview with Allure Vanguard, the Anambra-born film star said he’s not intending to sit alone, but to be with “someone I’m compatible with.”
Leonard, while claiming that he did not lose faith in marriage, also warned that people should be more rational about themselves while looking for a partner and prevent making incorrect decisions.
“No, I have not lost hope in marriage. It is just the time we live in. I believe in marriage and even the Bible says that it is not good for man to be alone. I do not want to end up alone. I do not want to end up miserable,” he said.
“I want to be with someone who I have a lot of things in common with; someone I’m compatible with. I believe in the institution of marriage, and I think that people should be more realistic with themselves when it comes to picking a partner.”
The Nollywood actor has been in the industry for almost two decades. In 2008, he had his first leading role in ‘Indian Doctor’
